December 06, 2005no surprise herePicard may have been a more realistic starship captain, with his expert diplomacy, haughty demeanor and rigid self-control, but I always preferred Kirk as MY kind of captain. Dabble in diplomacy, but keep the photon torpedos armed. Get into frequent fistfights. Boldy go, rigidly, into any woman who'll hold still long enough, regardless of race, creed, planet of origin or number of breasts. Just look at it this way: If you were a football player, which one would you prefer for a coach? Comments
Your opinion of Cap'n Kirk may change after you see this video: William Shatner singing "Rocket Man". It's a hoot! http://www.devilducky.com/media/21099/ Posted by: MrJimm on December 6, 2005 09:40 AMCrap!. I'm Worf.
I came out Ferengi??? Uh, no way! I go back and change 2 answers and come out Picard.... Posted by: Stu on December 6, 2005 04:52 PMcool. I'm Jean-Luc Picard If you can't game that test to select exactly which character you prefer, you are pretty dim. Posted by: Bugz on December 7, 2005 06:03 PMI am Picard. Don't drink Earl Gray any more, though. Red Rose for me now. Posted by: StinKerr on December 8, 2005 03:14 AMI also came out Picard, but I have to call bullshit on your line that he was a "more realistic starship captain." Picard made several decisions throughout the series that didn't result in disaster simply because utopian liberals were writing the beginning, middle and end of each episode. Oh, and Earl Grey rocks. One cup a day will keep you regular. Posted by: JPatterson on December 9, 2005 12:58 PMI'm Data Posted by: attrition on December 9, 2005 06:31 PMPost a comment
