Ronald Reagan died today. America lost a great man.
Of course, he's been out riding the sky for a long time now and death might be a blessing to both him and his family. I hate to see the good ones go the way he did, while a prick like Jimmy Carter probably will live forever.
Ain't no justice in this world.
Regan was one of the great ones. His accomplishments were indeed great. It was a great service to this country when he replaced Carter.
It's a sad, if not unexpected day in America. My flag is flying half-staff in his memory and honor.
I knew you would have a unique way of expressing your sadness at the passing of a great man. Thanks for not letting me down and making me laugh on a sad day.
It's a national tragedy to have someone so young die so terribly. Reagan died before the prime of life. A promising career in public service cut short by that dreadful disease. He was so young, and he had such potential. His short-lived contribution to mankind leaves one wondering what sort of man he would have grown to be -- surely a great one. The nation mourns this shooting star, this momentary flash of light, this young, young Ronnie, dead before life had ever really begun. -General Caesar

Surely you're not suggesting that because he had lived a full life, that his passing is less of a loss to those of us who cared, or to a world that desperately needs real men, and real leaders?
